The end of the year is approaching and we are - albeit in a rather cliché way – taking a moment to reflect on 2016.

For many 2016 has been a year of change with huge economic and political shake-ups happening across the world, leaving us to question what will happen next.

Here at A Space in the City we are no different. Change has been a prominent feature of 2016 with a focus on growth within the serviced apartment sector.

With both Cardiff and Swansea’s Christmas lights being switched-on last week it’s clear that the Christmas countdown has begun.

Wales’ biggest cities are getting into the festive spirit and there’s plenty to get involved no matter what age.

Last year Cardiff was rated one of the top cities in the UK where people enjoy visiting a Christmas market and the capital's Yuletide shopping bonanza is nothing less than spectacular.

11 weeks ago Britain experienced one of the biggest shake ups in recent times.

The results from the EU referendum were made clear and it was apparent that the Brexit vote was victorious. Since then Britain has been in a constant state of uncertainty.

Continuing on with the theme of uncertainty, the upcoming American presidential election is surrounded with controversy. Support for Donald Trump and his increasingly unpredictable foreign policy grows and the recent news concerning Hilary Clinton’s pneumonia rocks the scale even more.

Here at A Space in the City we look forward to any opportunity to that allows us to grow as a company.

We are delighted to have recently expanded our business in Swansea and attained a full time office in the city centre. Ensuring we are on hand to deliver excellent standards to our guests.

Our new Swansea office not only allows us to be close to our guests and their needs, it also means we are close by to our Swansea apartments. This includes our brand new Marina Villas and Llys Arian apartments.
