Stylish Stays Near The Volvo Ocean Race Cardiff Stopover Race Village

Love sailing? Experience a first for Wales when you visit the Volvo Ocean Race Cardiff Stopover

For the first time ever the Volvo Ocean Race Stopover lands in Cardiff Bay, from the 27th May – 10th June 2018. Having set off from Alicante back in October 2017, the fleet will have sailed 46,000 nautical miles to get here – and A Space In The City is ready and waiting to welcome the fleet and the many thousands of visitors that will descend on Cardiff during the event.

If you’ve never visited Cardiff before – then you are in for a treat!

Visit Wales have designated this year the ‘Year Of The Sea’ in honour of the fleet’s arrival on Cardiff’s shores. Cardiff’s Race Village will host a range of free activities and entertainment for adults and children during the fortnight which coincides with May half term.
