Serviced Apartments set for record expansion in 2017
When making your travel plans, whether for business or leisure – or combining the two into a ‘bleisure’ trip by adding extra days to a business stay and perhaps being joined by friends or family – serviced apartments are proving to be an increasingly popular choice, offering as they do added flexibility, relaxation and space over much traditional hotel accommodation.
Serviced apartments themselves offer a type of furnished apartment available for short-term or long-term stays. They have many facilities much like a traditional hotel, but apartments have added space, convenience and privacy to allow you to live like a local when travelling. They have private cooking facilities – either a kitchenette or a full-size kitchen with dishwasher and washing machine.
They have larger living and sleeping areas than most standard rooms, and often have access to gyms, restaurants, meeting space, concierges and other hotel-like services. Serviced apartments are especially economical for longer stays and for families and group travel. You have complete flexibility to come and go as you please.
You don’t have to leave the apartment at a set time every day for cleaning (most offer weekly cleaning, although guests can request more regular visits) and can save on dining and going out, with quality kitchens and hightech in-house entertainment.
